I am stuck on my 5th Great grandfather John Rogers born 1752 in Richmond, I cannot find his parents, John moved to Kent and then onto Southampton where the family owned Red Lodge Nursery.

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can look up a birth of my 7th great grandfather Henry Homes/Holmes. He married Elizabeth Ebbs in 1726 in Fletching, I was able to track down the Ebbs before 1700, but cannot find the Holmes's. Closest I can get to find a birth for a Henry Holmes around 1705 is in Norfolk , roughly 171 km's away from Fletching

Hello Folks,

I am researching my 6th Great grandparents, Bailey Simpson/Stimpson/Simson or Stinson was b abt 1745/46, I am presuming the family came from Littleport area, he did marry in Hilgay Norfolk ( Rebecca ) ( which by the looks, is not far from Littleport ) had 1 child then moved to Littleport where 5 more children were born. of course all the usual suspected places I have searched come up short on much info on his birth, he did pass away in Littleport in 1832, Rebecca passed away in 1829.

Any help would be much appreciated,

William Morgan born baptized 1782 in St Saviour, Southwark, found the baptism on FS, but did not include a parent

William married Mary Ann Wright in 1801 in Southwark
FS listed her parents as Jno and Mary...am I to presume Jno is shortened for John?

Hello All,
Hoping someone may be able to shed some light on a missing generation. I know my 7th great grandfather John Craddock was b 1694 in Chetwynd Shropshire to John Craddock, but FS's closest John Craddock is b 1644 in Cheswardine and married a Mary b 1650. I cannot help but think that 50 would be late to be starting a family as 3 other siblings were born after John 1694

Balthaser Pullin married Elizabeth Rogers in 1639 in Petworth, I have searched baptism's for Petworth for this man to no avail, there were many Pullin's also in Frant Sussex again no baptism for this gentleman.

Any clues to where I might want to try looking next?
