US Lookup Requests / Thomas Herbert Rice- Oklahoma
« on: Wednesday 28 November 18 15:00 GMT (UK)  »
Would someone be kind enough, please, to do a look-up on Thomas Herbert Rice who died in 1950. He is buried in Chelsea Cemetery. I need to know if he was born in the U.S., please. It says he was born in 1876, but I think it may mean 1870?

I have a Thomas Herbert Rice, born England, 1870, who disappeared off the face of the earth.

Many thanks,

Colin

I've been trying to find this fellow for years. Born in Liverpool, England in 1870.......disappears off the records after 1881. Family folklore says that someone went to Arizona. Someone died over there in the 1950's. Any help, please?

I notice that there is a Thomas Herbert Rice in Canada?

Northamptonshire / Neale of Higham Ferrers

I am trying to find which 'family' Thomas Neale came from. Presumably, it must have been pretty wealthy as he went to Cambridge.

Any ideas, please?

Thomas Neale  was born circa. 1564 in Higham Ferrers. He studied at Cambridge and got a B.A. He later became a deacon at Peterborough, Vicar at Ridge and first Headmaster at Aldenham School. He died circa. 1644.

Hi Everyrone,

I have been unable to find an ancestor for many years. Can anyone help? His name was Thomas Herbert Rice and was born in Lancashire (Toxteth Park) in November, 1870. He is mentioned on the 1871 and 1881 censuses, then disappears. I was told once, that a family member had gone to Arizona. Was this Thomas?

His mother died in the 1880's. Can anyone see him on a passenger list please?

Many thanks,

Colin
