Cheshire Completed Lookup Requests / 1901 census look up please

Could anyone kindly look up on the 1901 census

Robert W Grundy born Birkenhead 1893 he would be 7 on the census, father would be George but he could be living with relatives. All information woul be very much appreciated.

Northamptonshire / Stuck in 1792 Weston Favell Parish

l am hoping that someone can help me out please.

l have William Seaby married Ann Wallington 10 Dec 1792 both of the above parish. l would like to try and find both parents plus any children, so far l have only found one, John bap 13 Dec 1795 he married Frances Cockerill 29 Jul 1819 Northampton All Saints.

l thought by following John & Frances children l might just get some more information or clues but so far nothing has come to light so l am hoping that some kind person can get me a little further, l know the more you go back in time the harder it gets.

London and Middlesex / Trying Again

For years now l have been stuck finding my boys great grandfather nothing really is known about him only that his name was Frank Wall last time around with the help of other here we could find no trail of Frank's birth or family.

l knew Frank was in the Navy and have obtained his records again no family is listed what is listed in his papers is as follows

Frank Wall born 24 June 1876 Marylebone This has not help in the search for Frank.

Today on FreeBMD there is a Vivian Francis Wall born Sept 1/4 1876 Kensington l do not know if this is the one l am after but l have to follow just incase this is the Frank l am after all others have led to a dead end (sorry no pun intended).

l could not find him in 1881/91/ is there any kind person who could help me find Frank as our tree is very lopsided

Technical Help / Scam Emails Help Please

Last week in my Junk Mail Box l got an email from "HSBC Personnal Banking "- Topic Banking Security Alert. which l deleted NOT opening the email.

Yesterday l received another one this time" HSBC Personnal Banking" Topic Funds was Transferred to your Account. again l deleted it from junk mail box, low and behold this morning another one same as yesterdays.

Can someone tell me if this can be stopped, am l at risk, l have never had these scam emails before and just how did they get me email address. If they continue am l still safe if l just delete them.

Sorry if this is a silly question.

Family History Programs, Tree Organisation, Presentation / Problem with Legacy please help

This afternoon l updated my Legacy 7 to 7.4 that was ok but tonight l cannot open it box will Run time error 2007 invalid bands collection index. If you click on this box it disappears as well as the Legacy opening banner, l uninstalled Legacy 7 from add & remove did not fix the problem.

So l tried to uninstall 7.4 intending to re download but l get another box saying Wise uninstall could not open install.log file

Should not have had a grin as stated in other post. This has only happened on the laptop not the old desk top (as yet.

If l redownload so that it overwrites would this correct the situation.

Hope you can understand all of the above.

If anyone can help l would much appreciate it and being a real novice in very simple language please

l have Legacy 6 on my old computer and Legacy 7 on my laptop both are the free version, so my question is can l update Legacy 6 to 7 or must l delete it and download again. l have a lot more information in 6. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Cheshire / Looking for John Fulford/Grundy is he your ancestor

Hi,

l am trying to find out about my grandmothers brother John Fulford b. 1897 Grimsby. Lincs, last sighting was 1901 census with mother Harriet, Stepfather George Grundy and sister Lilian in Durham. The family then moves to Birkenhead Cheshire. l know what happened to my gran but what of John being so young was he adopted by George and become a Grundy or was he still a Fulford like my gran. With so many of us on Rootschat l am taking a chance just to see if he is anyones grandfather or great grandfather, uncle etc.
