Family History Beginners Board / Edwin Herbert EVANS
« on: Monday 26 April 10 12:10 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find out more about Edwin Herbert EVANS who was born on 30th June 1883 in Toxteth Park, Liverpool and married Lily Agnes BLOWS on 30th June 1909. I believe he died in 1960 on the Wirral (and may have been living at The Cairns, North Road, New Brighton at the time of his death). At the time of the 1911 census Edwin and Lily lived at 24 Thorneycroft Road, Liverpool and I believe they continued to live there until at least 1938. I also understand that Edwin Herbert EVANS ran a car body workshop in 15, Back Canning Street, Liverpool 8. I believe that they had two sons (Eric EVANS, born in 1911 and Dennis E EVANS, born on 26th May 1921) but I do not know what happened to them.

Family History Beginners Board / Robert Percy EVANS
« on: Monday 26 April 10 12:00 BST (UK)  »
Does any know anything about Robert Percy EVANS who was born in 29 May 1889 in Toxteth Park, Liverpool and married Louisa Annie Maud BLOWS in West Derby, Liverpool on 23rd June 1914. They had two children (Brian EVANS, born in 1915 and Joyce EVANS, born in 1918). The family lived together in Liverpool but it appears that Robert Percy EVANS left the family in 1931 (or thereabouts) and I am trying to find out what happened to him after that. Robert Percy EVANS was a draper (at least in the early part of his life).

Family History Beginners Board / BLOWS, BROWN and PRITCHARD
« on: Monday 26 April 10 11:56 BST (UK)  »
My wife’s great aunt was NELLIE MARY BROWN (nee BLOWS). She lived at Llys Eilian, High Street, Llanberis just before her marriage to WILLIAM BROWN on 5th August 1910 at the Parish Church, Llanberis.
By 1911 she was living at 38 Snowdon Street, Portmadoc with her husband, WILLIAM BROWN, and their son WILLIAM NORMAN BROWN (who was 4 months old at the time of the 1911 census). They also had a daughter (ALMA ANWELL BROWN) who was born in Ffestiniog on 4th November 1912 and another son who was born in 1919 in Ffestiniog.
ALMA ANWELL BROWN married WILLIAM ARTHUR PRITCHARD on the 1st May 1930 and on the marriage certificate ALMA is shown as living at the Prince Llewellyn Hotel, Beddgelert and her father (WILLIAM BROWN) is recorded as a Licensed Victualler (so may have been running the Prince Llewellyn Hotel at the time).
ALMA ANWELL PRITCHARD (nee BROWN) may have lived in Criccieth at some time in the 1950s or 1960s.
We understand that ALMA ANWELL PRITCHARD had two sons.
Does anyone know anything more about what happened to NELLIE MARY BROWN (nee BLOWS), ALMA ANWELL PRITCHARD (nee BROWN) and their descendants?
