I wondered if anyone has access to or can point me in the direction of the image rather than the transcript of this marriage.

The transcription gives one surname for Edward but many trees give another, so I’d like to be sure what it actually says.  ???

Hello

I am looking for this birth which according to the censuses could be anything between 1796 and 1806!

Sophia married a John Whitton/Witton in May 1837 and appears in three censuses with her husband, that is where I get her birth place from.

Any suggestions?

Not my first post about my Hyslop ancestors, they are tricky to sort out!

I have an Andrew Hyslop on a couple of censuses but I can’t find a death for him, so any suggestions are welcome.

He is living with his brother James in 1841 in Balmaghie.

Agnes Hyslop Age 25

In 1861 he is living with niece Agnes in Lochrutton.

Hello

I am looking for the baptism records of the children of Elias Townend and his wife Hannah, the ones I have found are all in Emley around the 1740s.

Specifically I am looking for a son named John who appears on several Ancestry trees, but I can find no actual record of his birth to this couple.

I have the marriage certificate for Frederick, he married an Ethel Williams a widow and was a widower himself. He was aged 37 and a furnaceman.

He gives his father as David also a furnaceman.

I can't find anyone that seems to be him in either 1911 or 1939, any suggestions?

I have been given a number to look someone up on Familysearch it starts L5Y, where do I look using this number?
