My grandfather was in the veterinary corp in WW1. Does anyone know where I would be able to find out info about them...I cannot find any service records for him.

South Africa / Wenyon: Bethlehem

My g grandfather Rev Joseph Wenyon died in SA in 1884/5.He was a wesleyan who was in Bethlehem for a short period.He was joined by his wife Frances Wenyon.
My grandmother Frances Lynette Wenyon was born in 1884 in Durban.
I have not been able to find any of them on passenger lists, nor any birth or death certs.
Where is the best place to look?

Canada / Stonehill : London Ontario Arrived 1926

Harry Duncan Stonehill and Dorothy Stonehill arrived in Ontarion in 1926 with their son Bernard Charles Stonehill.
Also,Dorothys sister Mary Bowley nee Mary or Georgina Frecknall with Albert Bowley and children Lillian and Frederick.
Georgina later married Ansell Stonehill.
I am looking for information from cencus or death certs re these relatives.
Can anyone help?

Lanarkshire / Roberton: 1750-1830.Harvey, Jackson

Have looked at 1841 cencus and parish birth records to try to trace families of Harvey and Jackson in Roberton.
Records probably not complete but looks like both families were in Roberton during this time.
An Alexander Harvey/Janet Hunter with 4 children Alexander,Janet,Christiane,Thomas 1765-1770 and John Jackson/Grace Jackson born 1761-4.
By 1841 cencus only a Jane Harvey is recorded..no other Harvey or Jackson.
Does anyone have any records of either families from Roberton..or have any info on Roberton from this time?

Can anyone help.I have not been able to find any info for birth death or marriage of Andrew Harvey.Nor birth of his wife Grace Jackson.
From Grace Jacksons death cert it would seem she was born around 1805 in Roberton lanakshire,her husband was a farmer.
They had a son David who said his date of birth was 4th April 1840.By 1841 Grace was widowed with David in Glasgow.Grace Jacksons father was reported as a carrier on her death cert.
Cant find his birth record either.
Not sure what I could look for next?

I am looking for information about a Grace Jackson who consistantly reported her place of birth as Roberton.She was born about 1790-1810,she said her father was a carrier/carter.She married an Andrew Harvey a farmer,but I cannot find any records of her marriage or birth on scotlandspeople parish records.Her son David Harvey was born 1840.
