Angus (Forfarshire) / James Lindsay of Dundee, d. 10 APR 1828

Hi all,
I'm searching for the names of the parents of James Lindsay (d. 10 APR 1828). He was a weaver who lived in Dundee, No. 80 Bell Street. His wife, Janet Ramsay m. 16 Nov 1792. He had a brother Tom and one other brother. Children are Margaret, Jessie, David, Elizabeth and Anne. James would tell his children that his first visit to Dundee was as a youth, coming to market with a sack of barley, brought across a horse's back. He might be "from the Land of the Lindsays, Brechin or Edzell way". He traveled to London in 1802 to visit his brother (unknown name). He was at times a member of Scoth Baptist Church and West Port Independents (Ward Chapel).
Perhaps my best chance is to find an obituary in a 1828 Dundee newspaper. (what do you think?)
Thank you,
David Lindsay
