It would be nice if this photo of the young Neil could possibly be corrected before his funeral on wednesday,it is the only image I have and was contemplating trying to do something myself, but am daunted by the poor condition.
I hope the resolution etc is adequate for restoration, and if wednesday is too tight a time limit,if anything at all can be done, however long it takes is fine.

World War One / Uniform insignia changes due to transfers.

I would be grateful for some help to try and discover any changes to my grandfather's cap badges and uniform insignia as he transferred between units as per the attached.I have no idea when these transfers took place, only that he was wounded, and ultimately died at Druids Cross military hospital,Liverpool in 1923 from complications due to said wounding.

This photo of my wife's uncle needs more than my limited experience to bring it back to life,so may I ask for some expert help?,as it's a treasured family image.(I hope the resolution will be suitable for restoration,as it's all I have)

I was hoping someone may be able to improve this family photo of a mother and daughter's  musical interlude in a Garston backyard,1950's.

I was thinking of applying for my late (died 1999) father's service records, and would appreciate comments from any members who have done the same.I have a fair bit of info already, and wondered if it's worth it given the apparent length of time it could take to get my hands on whatever they hold?   Tom Campbell.

World War One / Evacuation via hospital train.
« on: Thursday 03 October 19 14:06 BST (UK)  »
My ancestor was evacuated by hospital train in late Sept. 1918,would he have been sent back to England,or a hospital in France? The casualty list has him suffering from 'debility'.

I'm uncertain how much this pic can be restored, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
