Hi All

My dad has just rung to say he's recieved a letter from the above regarding the family of his mother (d.1979) and her parents, giving details of all 3 in the letter. Had a look at their website and it all seems legit...anyone had any experience of them?..

He's ringing them this morning & keeping me updated!..

Flintshire / Dilys Maud Woodward 1907-1945. *COMPLETED*
« on: Saturday 13 April 13 23:01 BST (UK)  »
Hi all

My g g aunt Dilys Maud Woodward was knocked off her bicycle by a lorry & killed outside St Marys Parish Church in Treuddyn on the 27th August 1945, a spinster she lived at Bryn Coch Bach, Treuddyn at the time of her death.

Could anyone check the local newspapers of the time to see if a report of the accident or obituary was mentioned....

Many thanks

Sarah :)

Cheshire / Missing after marriage?! ...
« on: Wednesday 10 April 13 11:57 BST (UK)  »
Hi All

Have come across a bit of a puzzle!...one which might be staring me in the face or the people in question have done a disappearing act after their marriage!...

Elizabeth Morrlle (various spellings) b.1877 Hawarden, Flintshire to James Morrlle & Jane Millington.

1881 - living with parents & siblings in Burntwood, Ewloe, Flintshire
1891 - not at home with parents & siblings...probable candidate, Elizabeth Morrlle 17 b.Pentre, North Wales, is a servant in Rufford, Ormskirk.

1894 - from Cheshire BMD...civil Chester marriage to Smith Carter....the only likely marriage I can see at the mo?...

If the marriage is correct, I can see no trace of Elizabeth & Smith???...

Any help & suggestions gratefully recieved!

Sarah :)

Hi All

Very helpful staff in my local charity book-shop allowed me in their piled-high store room to a stack of family bibles, which they are given as donations, they kindly let me note the family details and are going to let me know as more come into the shop....would be great if the rightful families are found as it seems space in the store-room is at a premium before they are moved/sold on!...

is the best way about it just to list the details here and fingers-crossed!

Sarah :)
