I have it said through the family that he was serving with KOSB, but looks like signals on his sleeve. Photo would be about 1943.

I am wondering which branch of the army this uniform relates to. Probably WW1 or possibly Boer War.

Name on marriage certificate is given as John McLaren but certainly doesn`t look like John. Any ideas?

I have been looking through a service record for a Thomas Fleck and on Medals, Decorations and annuities it has M.M.  L/G  13.3.19 against it.
Is this the Military Medal and what is the L/G?

Looking for help with place of birth for Joan McNaughton. She was born in the district of Bothwell, Lanarkshire in 1892.
