Lancashire / Maps of Littlemoss, Droylsden

Hi,

House History

I am doing the history of my terrace cottage house (built in 1857) and I am trying to locate any old maps of littlemoss, Droylsden (was in Ashton under lyne) to see if the house can be outlined.
Lumb Lane corner of Hyde Street, Littlemoss. Can anyone point me in the right direction I have not got a clue where to look.

World War One / help with 1914-1918 Great War

Hi,

My father is trying to find information on his dad Robert Wall, all he knows is that he was in the Manchester Regiment, he thinks the bantams, he was born in Droylsden, Lancashire, (Manchester) in 1895 and served in the 1914-1918 war in Belgium and France, cannot find any records for him. Help!!!!

HOUGHTON FAMILY

Can anybody help me find a family, In the 1901 Census they were living at 50 Pryme Street, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire. They were Head Charlotte Houghton (33 years), Son John Houghton (9 years), Son William H. Houghton (1 year). I know there are at least 2 more daughters Martha and Nellie inbetween John and William who we think were put in orphanages. Charlottes husband was John Houghton, but can't seem to find out what happend to him. I know from Son William Henry Houghtons birth certificate that his father was a Private 2nd Battalion Manchester regiment.

Charlottes Maiden name is given on birth certificate as Charlotte Ann Eastow

Hi,

Can anybody help me with a lookup of John Wall Born 1801 in Kingswinford, Wife Elizabeth born 1802 (Or Rachel born 1811 not sure which wife was 1st of 2nd)
Son Richard born 1827 & John 1832 both probably left home and married, Daughter Ann 1834, but could have been more children not sure.

Interested in his brothers/sisters and sons /daughters (One of whom I think was called Richard.
Also Elizabeth Pickin Born in St GIles, Willenhall around 1835, Daughter of Joseph Born 1815, wife Ann?
