p.s.  Have checked US census and immigration --  not finding either John or Maria traveling 1855-1856 together/separately.
If Maria did go and quickly returned, John obviously returned also.

Hello,

Looking for Edwin  (maybe Edward??)  King b. 1838/1839 in Stockport, Cheshire in 1871 with Wife Eliza and dau Lilly Eliza.

Edwin's Parents are Rueben and Elizabeth (Tempest) King.

1851 Edwin is 13 and w/ parents at Henshaw Lane, St. Thomas Stockport

In 1861, called Edward age 22 living with Rueben/Elizabeth in Stockport with
wife Eliza        (b. 1839, Stockport)    Collier could be her nee
dau Lilly Eliza ( b. 1861, Stockport).

No profession listed in 1861 but in 1851 Edwin was a printer's apprentice  (Father Rueben is a Newspaper Reporter).

Think his name most likely to be Edwin as this was a family name.

Thanks for any help!!

Hi!

King family I am researching has 2 Ebenezer King’s both unaccounted for long periods of time.  Death and emigration records not found.

Ebenezer b. 1808  Carey St.  New Court Ind. NC London  --  no sighting of him other than this birth record.   Parents Thomas and Charlotte King.  Possible he died young.   Died 1847 --  see below

Ebenezer b. 1851 in Bledlow Buck,  Parents Joseph & Louisa King.  Joseph b. in London, Louisa b. in Islington.   Last seen in 1861 in Manchester w/ parents at age 10.

Found below Ebenezer/Ebenezah King in 1881 ---  birth location is wrong but it is close proximity to his parents origins so wondering if there is some confusion.

1881 5 Park Terrace Tottenham
Ebenezah King Head Widow 31 <1850>  b. Edmonton, Middlesex  Baker
A.J. King son 2  <1879> b. Tottenham
A.E. King dau 1 <1880> b. Tottenham
Sophia Blythe Servant 55 b. St. Pancras

Marriage circa   1877
Wife’s death approx.  1880

Possible remarriage???:
Ebenezer King Sept Qtr 1883, Stepney
Possible Brides:
Maud Jacklin M. Hannath
Mary Ann Purvis

Would like to find above Ebenezer in 1871 and 1861 when he is (hopefully!) with his parents and to confirm birth location.   Would like to find him in 1891 to confirm full names of children, his remarriage and if any other children born.

Many thanks for any help!
