Canada / Wills Family last seen in Quebec
« on: Friday 06 September 13 16:11 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find out about my Great Uncle and his family who emigrated to Canada 23/5/1911.  His name was Julius Spencer Wills born 1881, his wife Edith Harriet Wills née King born 1887 and their daughter Margaret May Wills born 1909.

A fellow researcher kindly found Julius and Edith on the Canadian Voters List, in 1949, 1957 and 1969 they are in York, Ontario. In 1972 and 1974 Julius is in La Prairie, Quebec.  I know privacy laws are strict in Canada but I am hoping there might be a death announcement in the newspapers for Julius as he would have been 93 in 1974 so a ripe old age!

I would also like to find out if Margaret married but again know this will only be possible if there is an announcement in the newspapers.

Any help with this family would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Rutland Lookup Requests / Barrowden look up please
« on: Friday 11 May 12 21:17 BST (UK)  »
I am researching Robert Sanby and I would be very grateful if someone could look up some parish records for me.

Robert had 2 sons Samuel born 1790 in Spalding, Lincs and James born 1792 in Barrowden.  I have gathered a lot of information on them but so far none on their parents Robert and Frances.  I believe Robert died young and Frances married again to Daniel Sewell so these are the questions I would love an answer to.

I can find no marriage for Robert Sanby to Frances ? in Spalding so is there a marriage in Barrowden c1785-1790?
Is there a burial for Robert Sanby 1792-1797 in Barrowden?
Frances Sanby (Sanbee) married Daniel Sewell on15/10/1797 in Barrowden, is she listed as a widow?

Thanks for reading.
