Request information on Alexander Renfrey Hawke born 1919 in Port Adelaide District.   He was the son of James Roy Hawke and Margaret Ellen Hawke, nee Melville.   He appears to have been buried in Cheltenham Cemetery (died 1981 age 62) in the same grave as his parents with the name of Alan Hawke.   'Alan' Hawke's wife was Betty Hawke died 1989.
Request confirmation of Alexander's (Alan's) identity, marriage and death if at all possible.
Many thanks, Dave

Cardiganshire / Jenkins
« on: Saturday 18 August 18 15:06 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find details of the life and death of William Jenkins, according to census records he was born about 1846 in Aberystwyth, son of William and Catherine (nee Clements) Jenkins.   He married Ellen Foster 15 Nov 1870 in Aberystwyth and he worked as a carpenter or in associated trades.   She was born 27 Nov 1848 in Liverpool.   They were both alive in 1911 census living at 34 Bridge Street, Aberystwyth.   I am unable to find any burial records in Aberystwyth that fit but Ellen possibly died in West Derby, Liverpool in 1921.
I would be especially interested to find evidence of his/her death and/or burial.
I have the census details for 1851 through 1911 with the exception of 1860.
Thanks, Dave

Ireland / Ayerst/Carrigan
« on: Tuesday 22 May 18 15:04 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to find information on Ayerst family.   All I have at the moment is information from the 1881 Canadian census for Toronto.   Head of family is Francis (or Frank) Ayerst, age 22, born in England.   Wife is Margaret Ayerst (ne Carrigan), age 20, born in Ireland.   Son Francis Perry Ayerst, age 9 months, born in Ireland.   Any information on dates, place of birth, parents etc of Margaret Carrigan and son greatly appreciated.   Presumably they married in Ireland and emigrated to Canada sometime late 1880 or early 1881.
Thanks Dave

Request lookup of the birth of Mary Hemborough (Stenner) who was buried 17 Feb 1847 at Selworthy.   Her age at death was given as 94.   On 9 Oct 1771 she married William Stenner (bap 24 Mar 1750 at Selworthy) at Selworthy.    They had 8 children all baptised at Selworthy.
There are a couple of Hemborough baptisms at Selworthy in the mid 1700s but no Mary.   Any help greatly appreciated.
