Family History Beginners Board / Birth certificate

I know that we are not supposed to post about living people, just I need a bit of help , we need to order my husband's full birth certificate, I've tried looking for the gro index reference number to order it , but can't find it, I don't remember having this much trouble finding them before , but it has been a while since I've ordered of the general records office site, and seems so different, any help will be very much appreciated x

I am not sure if I am posting on the right county.
 but I am trying to find out, When my Great Grandfather Edward Jones purchased Abergafren or Abergrafran Farm,  Minffordd, and who had it before him.

after leaving the farm Edward & his wife Mary moved to Trem Tecwyn, their Son William took over the farm,

Mary died abt 1947, Edward died 1956,
William died 1957,

I also wonder who had the farm after William died,

Any help will very appreciated

I ordered 3 certs on 4th June 2020 and still not received them yet, has anyone else had any problems,

I have never had this problem before when ordering certs,

Hi,

i am hoping someone could help me, find out  where my Grandad's  sister is buried , I know her name was Hannah Thomas, she was born 1904 in oldham or royton Lancashire, and died 1906 of measles, I have her burial Date as 24/11/1906 Lancashire,  her parents were Joseph & Edna Thomas.

 My Grandad Arthur was born 2 years after Hannah died. he was born 24/11/1908, by 1911 Joseph Edna & Arthur moved to Gwespyr in North wales, and if there was any way i could find a photo of her headstone, as I don't know if she was buried with another family, I know her parents & her brother where buried in North Wales,,

Hi,

I am tying to find an article in the  North Wales Daily Post, the article is a public notices about Gordon Ritson Thomas,( he was my Uncle) he died 8th Feb this year, my mum rang me to get me to have a look online, but I have yet to find it, so was hoping someone could give if me ideas of how to find it, it was published on 24th April, I can't go to the North wales library in Rhy myself as I live over 200miles away, so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

John was married to a Louisa Jones nee Gordon, they  had one child Margaret Gordon Jones,

I am trying to find information on Alexander McDougall's army records, b1875 Hull Yorkshire, died Nelson 1958.

He was my Husbands great grandfather,.  we have a medal of his, but apparently he was given 2 medals, but we don't know what happen to the other one.

On the medal we have. on the front has 1914-1918,  no ribbon attached, on the side has PTE Alexander McDougall no 153272 RAMC, would like to find out a bit more about his military life if possible. & what RAMC stands for.

Hi,

I am hoping someone will be able to help me, look for a death notice for a Victor Allenby Jones, accidentally killed in a road accident June 17th 1961, aged 19 in Prestatyn. also there was also an inquest published, but can't remember what paper this would have been in, as it happened before I was born.

I am looking for help on an Edward Jones born in Yorkshire list as Stepson to a John Horn,
 1891 Census pg no 32, Reg no. 12, folio 2182.

 I haven't been able to find this family on the 1881,

, Edward is aged 15 in this census, I would like in help finding who this Edward's parents were, I am assuming that John's wife Ann, could be the Mother of Edward along with several siblings, but who  was Edward's father?

James Horn   son
Edward Jones Stepson
Adlaide Jones  Stepdaughter
Margaret Jones Stepdaughter
Emma Jones     Stepdaughter

All born in Staffordshire apart from Edward born Yorkshire
