Looking for a marriage for William Lane Richardson, wife's name Alice, possibly Simpson in Stratford/ West Ham area c.1810-1820.  Also  birth record George Richardson 1820 Stratford.
Any help appreciated.

World War One / Berkshire regments in Wales

Can anybody tell me if any Berkshire regiments were stationed in mid Wales at the end of WW1, or whether soldiers were demobbed there when the war ended.
I am looking for a marriage in Builth Wells around Oct/Nov 1918 of William Bushnell, his wife was either Maltese, Spanish or Greek. The information I have is rather patchy but I do know that he was stationed in Macedonia during the war in a logistics role supplying troops going to the Gallipoli front.

Any information would be useful.

Does anyone know if " Winfield," Oxford Rd, Wokingham still exists?
I believe it may have been a maternity home during WW2.

United States of America / US social security records.

Does anyone know if I can access US social security records?  My mother's cousin, Theodora Moody, emigrated in 1957 with her father.
She died in 1993, I have her social security number. Is this date too recent to access, if at all, or would it be depend on legislation in the state where she settled?
