Hi, I wonder if anyone knows what information can be seen on the Wigmore School records. I can see on the 1881 census a George Jones born 1868 Darlaston, I need to be able to prove he's the George Jones I'm looking for.
Thanks for any help

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me.... I've done burial records search for Manchester General Cemetery and found 8 people in the same grave which are all family. The first in is Frances Cooper in 1852, I'm presuming that it could be a private family grave. How can I find out more information about who bought the plot, the rules and regulations back then, how much it would have cost etc,.
Any help would be appreciated.
Jacqueline.

« on: Wednesday 14 November 18 10:03 GMT (UK)  »
Could anyone help me to find out what happened to the Jones family after 1871 please. I know its a difficult surname to research, this is what info I've got so far.
Samuel Jones (B) 1832 & Emma Kirby (B) 1830 married St Marys Church Bilston 26 Oct 1859, Samuel occupation Brickmaker.
Children
John (B) 1860 Moxley Bilston, married Barnsley Yorkshire, father Samuel occupation Brickmaker. (I have all the information and census on John that I  need).
Mary (B) 1865 Catherines Cross Darleston, George (B)1867 Catherines Cross & Henry (B)1871 Catherines Cross Darleston all 4 children as the fathers occupation on there birth certs as a brickmaker.
I cannot find any more information on Samuel & Emma and the 3 children after 1871 census.
I did buy a death cert for Emma Jones dated 1873 Catherines Cross age given 42,husband Samuel occupation screw forger informant Sarah Yates. Is this my Emma ? if it had said Brickmaker I would have said yes no problem but I'm not sure now.
I've been stuck on this family now for quite a few years so any help or ideas of where to find them would be much appreciated.

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Inquest

Hi, could any one help find the Inquest for Elizabeth Horne dated 9 Jan 1893 in Leeds. I've got the death cert which states she died from Heart Disease so I'm wondering why it went to the Coroner.
Also her last address was Middle Garden Walk, Upper Accommodation Road, I'm presuming this is Leeds. Could the address be part of a hospital or house as I can't understand why she is in Leeds.
Thanks for any help

Lancashire / Strangulation
« on: Tuesday 31 January 17 11:59 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me. I've got a death certificate for my great great grandfather William Shuttleworth he died 20 May 1858 King St, Pennington. Cause of death Strangulation informant looks like  Wm S Rutter Coroner Manchester. What I would like to know would there be any documentation for his death, coroners report or newspaper reports in 1858. I'm wondering if he was  murdered! where would I start looking for this information.
Regards
 Jacqueline
