Surrey Lookup Requests / Baptism and /or marriage lookup for James SHORTLAND

Can anyone please help me find any info regarding my gt x 5 grandfather JAMES SHORTLAND.  I know that he died in Staines, Surrey on 11 Sept 1806.  His wife's name was Elizabeth and they had 5 chldren that I know of.. James, Elizabeth, James, Richard, Ann and John, all born in Staines between 1738 and 1759.  There are big gaps in their DOBs so probably more children that I don't yet have.
Any info concerning his birth or marriage would be much appreciated.

Warwickshire / John LATHE birth look up please.

Can anyone please help with a look up for John LATHE, born c 1791 in Birmingham. His age varies on census's by about 5 years.  I know he married Jane Johnson in Penn, Staffordshire and died in Dudley in 1878, but I'm finding it impossible to find his birth and parents.

I wonder if anyone can help me break through a brick wall please? 

I know that Jonathan DOVEY was born 1782 (from 1841 census) and was married to Nancy ?? b.1795 (again from census)  I have found 8 children to them, 4 of whom were living with them on the '41 census where they were all living at Hurcott Hall and Jonathan was recorded as a farmer.
I could not find Jonathan or Nancy on the '51 census.

I cannot find the birth of Jonathan, nor the marriage of Jonathan and Nancy to ascertain her maiden name.  All the children were born in Kidderminster, and the entire family this far back are from that area, so I assume they will have been born and married in the vinicity.

Any help very much appreciated.

Yorkshire (North Riding) Lookup Requests / Help with birth of an Ann in Huby, N. Yorks

I'm trying to find the wife of George Allanby m 1846, Otley, N. Yorks.  I know he married an Ann, who according to the censuses was born in HUBY, N. Yorks.

However on BMD there are two possible Ann's one called KNIGHTSON and one called BALDWIN. ???

I've tried following them back to see if the ages differ greatly, which would help, but on the 1841 census both were working as servants in Otley, one born 1825 and the other 1826!!

I've tried familysearch to no avail, and the parish records on FindmyPast, as I subscribe to that, but no luck.

I need to know which one was born in HUBY, and would be so grateful if anyone out there could help.

Can anyone help with a look up for the birth of Joseph Melia c. 1885 in Leeds please. I know his parents were Joseph MELIA and Catherine but when I looked on the BMD for Joseph and Catherine's marriage there are two Catherines... one called ROBINSON and one called CARTEY.

My gt x 3 grandfather Jeremiah CAMPION b.1809 Leitrim, Co Cork, came from a wealthy landowning family of Campions. He married his first cousin, Sarah BUNWORTH in 1828, which his family disapproved of and he was cut off without the proverbial penny.  He then left Ireland with his wife and went to India joining the East India Company. Family hand downs say he rose to a Major but give no indication of which regiment he was with.
What I am trying to discover is just when he left Ireland and sailed to India. 
Any suggestions of how to find this gratefully accepted.  I have already tried the FIBIS site.

Cork / marriage look up please. PATRICK KELLY Clonmel

I'm searching for information about my gt grandfather Patrick KELLY. I know he was born in Ireland in abt 1833. Family say he married Anne PRENDERGAST in Clonmel and they had one child, after which she died.   He then left Ireland and went to India.

I did find a marriage of an Ann Prendergast in 1851 in Clonmel in the Ireland Civil Registration Index, but there is no mention of her spouse's name!
I know Patrick married for the second time in India in 1859 so his first marriage must have been between 1849 and  1858.

From there on I have all I need to know about him, but it's that early part of his life that is missing. Would be very grateful if anyone can help. Thanks
