Canada / Canadian Deaths look up Help!!!

Could anyone help with finding My Grandfathers death in Canada,don't know where he was living, I last saw him  in Winnipeg 1985,Family were estranged but he was living in Canada I do know that for sure,no trace of him in the UK Deaths ,tried looking at several sites for Canadian records, but no luck...

I am looking for WW1 medals for my GGrandfather Pte James Cockburn 16th Cheshire Regiment under either  Army Numbers 21550 & 68890 ...Wounded August 1917 France...

I need help identifying my GGrandfathers service in India...
John Mcvey  Born 1826 Ayrshire,Scotland,
on marriage certificate  1852 ,serving as Drummer in His Majesty's 29 th Regiment.
Living in Meerut..Is this and India or British Regiment ?

Secondly , would it be possible to  find out if his wife...Isabella Mckinlay was anglo indian ?...

Does anyone have any information about Auxiliary War Hospital Ellesmere ? My G Grandfather was there after receiving Shell Wounds to his ankle and leg, whilst serving with the Cheshire Rgt in France.

Could anyone help me Decipher my GGrandfathers  Service Record  on Ancestry ...

 He was PTE James Cockburn,68890 Birkenhead RDC  350 th Coy .Enlisted 2/12/1914 late of the 16th Battalion Cheshire Regiment (Bantams)... I would like to know does it say what the last Battle he fought in and was wounded 1917 and which dressing station or Hospital would he have been treated in ?,had shell wounds to leg and ankle...
Its very dark at the bottom of the page and I am partially sighted so am struggling to make it all out...
Any help would be much appreciated ..

I am trying to find out anyone with information about the Cowan family from Newquay /Plymouth,who were reputed to own a Hotel in Plymouth and were from a Family of Solicitors?  Secondly the Cook Family from St Columb ,Newquay.... did they have a family farm there and how were they connected to the tin mines?..... All I can find is the Cook Family on census and have bdm certs for william Massey Thomas Cook Born 1870, Captain of St Columb Fire Brigade info and paper articles...the rest of info is passed on by family but no detailed information...Anyone with the connection and information would be gratefully received to point me in the right direction....  Many Thanks Fifer  :)

Could anyone tell me how to find anything about Athletic clubs or Newspaper Articles about a marathon runner who lived in Dysart Born 1877 ,it would be pre WW1 as he was injured at Ypres in Thigh and ankle so guessing he didn't do much running after that.... He was James Cockburn,my Great Great Grandfather

I have lost a post asking for information regarding the War Diaries for the 16 th Battalion Cheshire Regiment for  France July/August 1917,someone kindly gave me information regarding my GGrandfather Pte James Cockburn who was wounded,need to refer to his post but cant locate it, could anyone help......?
