Stained glass windows, Queen Adelaide's Coat of Arms.

Choir stalls dated 1866.

Organ dated 1894.

This is the last time the church will be open to the public as it is being de-commissioned.

Open for Heritage Open Day Saturday 9th September 4.30pm - 6.30pm

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for help

Police are asking for help to identify the next of kin of a man from Mossley.
Michael Shaun Leadbetter, 58, was found deceased on 16 March 2017. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Michael was living on Queen Street in Mossley at the time of his death but he was originally from Hull and it is believed that he is survived by brothers and sisters.
Anybody with information should contact the Stockport Police Coroner’s Office on 0161 856 9677.

This weekend (10th -12th April), there is an Easter Egg Festival at the church. 12-4pm

When I visited today, the Parish Registers were there.

If anyone would like me to do a look up, please send me a message and I will try to go and look for you.

For anybody thinking of going to do research, Local Studies in Ashton Library will be

CLOSED

from Thursday 20th November until Tuesday 6th January 2015.

This is because offices are being created for staff who are moving out of the Council Offices. The area should be being made bigger not smaller.
