Hello - I am looking for John Williams, blacksmith, and family in Ruabon; wife Margaret, sons John, Robert, Gomer.  John was born abt 1805 and Margaret about 1810.

Daughter Mary Ann should appear in 1841, but would not appear in 1851.

My 3g-grandmother, Mary Lavery, was born at Kilrush c1821.  She married Thomas Thompson of the Royal Marine Artillery c1843-1844, and returned with him to England.  Their first child, Mary, was born at Tarbert c1844.

Any thoughts or info. about Mary and how I might find out more about her would be welcome - I have been searching on the available internet resources.

Laois (Queens) / Looking for Mary Feeney (born about 1843)

My great-great-grandmother, Mary Feeney, was born in Laois in about 1843 - her father, Anthony, was a blacksmith.  She was Catholic, and emigrated to Lancashire.

I'm not quite sure where to go from here, so any thoughts or information would be much appreciated.

My great-great grandmother was Mary Ann Williams, born c1832 at either Ruabon or Wrexham.  Her father was John Williams, a blacksmith - I believe he was actually the village blacksmith at Ruabon.

So my request is for anyone who could look for Mary Ann in Ruabon in the 1851 Census, and her father, John Williams.  Mary Ann married John Spencer Laycock (born 1832) who had lived with his family at Ruabon but was born in Halifax, Yorkshire.  By the time of their marriage in 1853, Mary Ann and John lived in Marylebone, London, but if anyone could locate John in Ruabon in 1851, I would also appreciate that.
