Hello,
I have another ancestor's record from Hutzdorf which I cannot understand.

I've tried to reduce the file size and hope the image comes through okay.
Many thanks in advance.

Hello,
I would be very grateful if someone could kindly transcribe this top half of my g-grandparents' marriage record from Hutzdorf. (The full record is too large to post.)
I can understand most of the other half.
Many thanks in advance.

Technical Help / How to transfer tree from flash drive to Family Tree Maker programme
« on: Wednesday 30 September 20 21:51 BST (UK)  »
A week ago I discovered to my horror that all the files in my FTM had disappeared!  More than thirty years of research there :o
This morning I happened to come across two old flash drives I made years ago with (I think) most of the information that was lost.
Only problem is I really don't know HOW to transfer the information from the flash drives onto my Family Tree Maker (2017).
I've done several internet searches, but can't quite figure this out.
Needless to say, I am not very computer-knowledgeable  :-[.

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me the steps to follow to copy the flash drives onto the FTM programme.

Many thanks.

United States of America / Orphan's home "boarder" vs "inmate"
« on: Tuesday 01 September 20 23:43 BST (UK)  »
I have found two of my ancestors, brothers ages 3 and 6, on a 1910 census of Indiana, living at the St. Joseph County Orphan's Home in Mishawaka.  They are both listed as "boarders", whereas most of the other children are listed as "inmates".
I am wondering whether "boarder" might be temporary, and "inmate" permanent.  Any help much appreciated.

Canada Lookup Request / "Allemang's churchyard"
« on: Friday 10 January 20 23:14 GMT (UK)  »
Not sure I am posting this on the right board  ???.

My 2nd g-grandfather died in Wellesley Township (Waterloo, Ontario) in 1869.  In his will, he asked to be buried in "Allemang's churchyard".
As I cannot find this cemetery, I am wondering if someone with access to Waterloo County Churches : A Research Guide to Churches Established Before 1900 by Rosemary Willard Ambrose would please check to see if this cemetery is listed there.
(My ancestor's name, by the way, is not at the Find a Grave site.)

Many thanks for any help.
