Warwickshire / Interesting marriage?
« on: Tuesday 23 January 24 19:59 GMT (UK)  »
Looking at my tree … again….. and these ancestors are possibilities.

I have Elizabeth Chetwynd b: 1732
Hints suggest her father is Sidney Chetwynd b:1708 married to Mary Colledge Shilton b:1707

I also have Richard Chetwynd b: 1743 but no hints for him.

When I look at the family hints for it suggests that she had a son and daughter - Richard and Elizabeth.

Richard’s granddaughter Phoebe Chetwynd b: 1800 marries Elizabeth’s great grandson Charles Blower b: 1802

They all live around Atherstone / Kingsbury areas in Warwickshire

This is based on Ancestry hints…

Leicestershire / Would there have been a birth certificate???
« on: Tuesday 05 December 17 15:37 GMT (UK)  »
Good Afternoon...

Been talking with my mum this afternoon about her family.  Her sister was born March/April 1949 in Market Bosworth and was possibly still born or didn't live very long.  I don't think my grandma actually got to see her as my grandma was rushed to another hospital.  My grandma did have a letter from the midwife who delivered her and this is inferred in the letter.  :'(

My mum said she was never talked about and all she recalls is that her name was possibly Valerie.  Infact the only time my Grandma made reference to her was when my mum was in a very long labour with me and my grandma was worried that my mum would go through the same as she did.  :'(

My mum was born the following February 1950.

My mum wondered if there would have been a birth and death certificate as she has never found one.  I have said that there should have been but would this have been the case?

Thank you xx

« on: Sunday 15 September 13 16:28 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Can anyone help, not sure if I have asked this before. I was wondering if there would be any records of his birth father.

I am looking for my grand dads birth.  He was born in Hamilton, Scotland in 1922.

His mother was Elizabeth McNamee, born 1890.  She married Francis McKain, although Francis was not my Grand dads father.

Thank you

Nicola ??? ???

Nottinghamshire / Norman - Nottingham
« on: Tuesday 02 July 13 09:18 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for the following

John Norman b: January 1933 d:September 2002
Celia Norman b:1929 d:February 2011 married name Middleton
George Norman b:1925 d:2004

They all lived in Nottingham and spent some of their childhood in a childrens' home.

This is the only information I have on them and would like to know more about their history.  I think that their mother and father weren't married, as on the birth records they all come up with the same maiden/surname name....

If anyone can help thank you

Thanks again ???
