Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Nellie Mulcahy - Please help to fix
« on: Wednesday 30 August 17 07:08 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
I have this photo of my great aunt from the 1920's and would really appreciate it if someone could help fix the colouring/lighting.  It's been told in our family that the photographer held the light closer to her to make her appear lighter in skin colour as she was Indigenous.

Thank you,
Hollie

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased a copy of my great, great, great grandfather's death certificate and I'm having a little trouble reading two different parts of it.

For the first pic I've been able to read:

Pulmonary Consumption
?? at inquest
?? McCandler(?)
Coroner
29th March 1889

And for the second:

?? ?? 994
?? ??
?? Police
??
Present at Inquest

Any help deciphering it will be greatly appreciated.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Please Date and Restore.
« on: Thursday 01 March 12 14:57 GMT (UK)  »
I've been labeling my family pictures and I've come across this one and would really like to know around what year/s it was taken to be able to determine if it's my grandfather or great uncle.  Also, how old do you think the boy in the picture is? (the back of it is blank)

If anyone wants to restore/do their magic on it, please feel free too.

Hello all,

I've recently came upon this first picture in a photo album my grandfather left to me and was hoping that the image could please be restored and dated.  A colour version would be lovely as well.  I have a feeling the photo is of my great grandmother but I'm not too sure.  The back of the photo is blank.

Also, for the second picture would someone please be able to colour/enhance it?  It's the only photo I have of my grandmother.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Can this be restored?
« on: Friday 10 February 12 01:09 GMT (UK)  »
This is a picture of my great great grandmother born around the 1870's.  My grandfather ended up scanning the original picture for a cousin but has now sadly misplaced the original.  We would both like to know if it is able to be restored somewhat.
