London and Middlesex / Poplar Workhouse/Institution address

Hi,
I have a colleague at work whose mother's birth cert gives an address of 86 High Street Poplar in 1922.
Looking through on line archives in looks like 84-88 High Street were knocked down in 1901 to build a house for the medical officer of the workhouse.
On another forum I have found someone else looking for a couple of other completely different people at the same address in 1930 based on an invoice from a supplier.
The question is does anyone know if 86 High Street was used as the address for the workhouse during the 20s and 30s?
Regards,
Andrew
