Looking for details on a William Murphy Gordon, born 1922, Passed away 6th Aug 2016

Appears to have been a farm hand around 1940-45 in Glass area, Aberdeenshire

Married Mary Hwathorne in 1950 and had 3 sons.

Did reside in Apple Croft in the grounds of Gordon Castle before retiring to Fochabers, then onto a care home in Aberlour.

Where he was born and stayed as a child
Where he stayed during the war (Glass area)

Hi all, looking for some guidance again....

Looking at the death of Edith Brannen in 1941, her mother is listed as Elizabeth Cook Brannen.  Unable to find out much about her. Cook was her mothers maiden name. Edith was born in 1935

Elizabeth may have had a shop at 15 Menzies Road In Aberdeen, although trying to find out what kind of shop it was and if this was Edith's mother.

Appears Elizabeth was a single mother, born in Aberdeen in 1900.

CAn anybody add anything to the above?

George Maclellan was listed as staying at Dowalty In Crathes (Aberdeenshire) in 1940 age 17/18

I am trying to see if he is the same one that passed away in East Kilbride in 2012, as the year of Birth seems to tie in, he may have married in 1968 (but not listing his wife's name as she may still be alive, but may have passed away in 2016)

He would have been born 1933/34, and i see there is one listed in North Morar in 1934.

Trying to get some basic info on

William John Campbell Adamson / Josephine Helme (Laird of Cairston / Stracathro)

They were married in 1947, had children in 1948 and 1949.

Main aim is to find out age of them when they were married in Lancaster in June 1947. As best I can tell 33 & 24?

Can anybody help?
