I'm looking for a photo of Coney Hall, built by Sir Henry Lennard in 1880.  There appears to be a void on the internet of photos of this hall.  I can find reference to Coney Hall Farm but not the Hall.  There seems to be very little information about the Hall other than it became a Shaftsbury Children's Home around the mid 1930s and was destroyed by fire, possibly in the Blitz but still unsure of this.  I know it was hit by a bomb in 1940 killing to members of staff. 
At some point it was also referred to as Coney Hill.
Any information and photos would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am researching the above named WW1 soldier, born in 1882 in Edmonton and died in Kenya on 23rd February 1916.  He is buried in Kajiado Cemetery, Kenya.

My query is, does anyone know what the Royal Fusiliers would have been doing there at this time and in what circumstances he might have died?  Would there have been a battle or skirmish in that area at that time?  I thought it unusual.

His older brother, William, died the same year serving with the Royal Engineers in France.

I am trying to find out about the above named person.  I believe his initials stand for Hugh William Charles Baillie (although I've seen it spelt as 'Bailie' as well).   

He supposedly studied medicine at Queen's Belfast although the only evidence is in an athletic meeting in 1938 when he represent Irish Universities Athletic Assoc. 

There is a Charles William Hugh Bailie in the Peerage born 1895.  He was a Major and the son of Maj-Gen Thomas Maurbourg Bailie.  Not sure he is the same person.  I think not as I have found a  birth Hugh W C Bailie in 1915 in Clogher, Ireland but not sure about his parents.

I have found Captain HWC Baillie mentioned in dispatches in a 1945 Gazette so probably not the same person.

He was an athlete who competed in the Javelin in 1938-39 using the name HWC Baillie. 

Any further information about this person would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to find the date and place of death for the above named person.
He was born in 1883 in Donegal.  He joined the RIC in 1906 but joined the North Irish Horse Reg in 1916.  His father was Francis and mother Frances (Ewing).  He rejoined the RIC after the war until 1922.
He married in 1917 to Emily Deakin and their son William A L Colhoun died in 1944.  It mentions his parents on the CWGC site as Andrew and Emily Colhoun of Belfast.
There appears to be no record of either of their deaths and I can't find any information on emmigration.
I have found various photos of him on line including him as a Sergeant in the NIH.  None of the sites includes date or year of death.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,
I am looking for any information on the above person.  I do not have a lot of information on him, not even the year or where he was born or parentage.  All I know was that he was a staff sergeant in 1900 with the Royal Irish Rifles.
