Wexford / Graveyards around 1900 Kiltealy Wexford area
« on: Saturday 20 June 15 02:32 BST (UK)  »
I have some Nevilles who lived and died in Kiltealy Wexford around 1900.  Does anyone have any idea as to possible grave yards they may be buried in?  The old Templeshanbo cemetery is in really bad shape when I was there in 2005 and most stones were either turned over over not legible.  I have Brian Cantwell CD and he did Templeshanbo in 1979 and said it was in excellent condition, but there were only 2 stones, not the ones I was looking for.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Can anyone decipher this name
« on: Thursday 24 January 13 12:11 GMT (UK)  »
This is a baptismal record of Jane Gibson.  Father is James Gibson and mother is Catherine ?
The names I have come up with are Felton, Sulton, and Sutton.  What do you think?
The 2nd baptism is James Gibson from the same parents, but I am still unable to figure out the name.

The 1st picture is sideways, unfortunately, but it is the correct way in my file.  How can I change it on here?

Thanks for your help

Carlow / Nolan-Cahill/ Gibson-Bridgid Toole
« on: Saturday 27 October 12 21:07 BST (UK)  »
Anyone on Carlow thread have a James Nolan and Sarah Cahill (@1845) connection? They were married in Myshall in 1870.  Sarah's father was Timothy.

Also looking for anyone who has a Thomas Gibson-Bridgid Tool connection.  They were married in 1882 in bangelstown. Her father was Thomas.  I am sure they had children but don't have any information.

Also looking for a Mary Curran (1865) and Edward Neville connection.  She was born in Bunclody and Edward was from Coonogue.  Her father was James Curran.  She had 2 sisters that I know of Johanna and Margaret.

Just looking to see if anyone else is searching for these families

Thanks

Wexford / kiltealy wexford cemetery (and area)
« on: Monday 15 October 12 13:43 BST (UK)  »
Apparently there are 2 graveyards in Kiltealy; that is hard to believe since it is so small.  I hear people refer to the Old Kiltealy graveyard.  There is a fairly new graveyard right next to St. Patrick church.  Does anyone know where the Old Kiltealy graveyard is located (other than Kilteally:)  Does anyone have a hunch as to where people would have been buried if they lived in Kiltealy (1890-1920)

Thanks

Wexford / Neville-Byrne and Byrne-Jordan from Kiliteay Wexford
« on: Sunday 14 October 12 13:17 BST (UK)  »
Looking for anyone who is also looking for Edward Neville and Catherine Byrne.  They are in the 1901 Ireland census, but not in 1911, so I presume they both died between those years.  They lived in Kilteay Wexford and had a boatload of children.  Edward, Matthew, and Patrick stayed in Ireland.  Trying to locate where they would have been buried also.  They are not in the Old Templeshanbo graveyard.
Also looking for Edward Byrne and Bridget Jordan from the same area.  Children Ann, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, Bridget, Johanna, John and Michael that I am aware of (1863-1874)

Cork / Graveyards in Carrigrohane Beg - Kidney family
« on: Sunday 16 September 12 16:25 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

Is anyone available to go to the cemetery in Caragrohanebeg or has anyone been there.  My g-grandfather, Jeremiah Kidney, lived in Caragrohanebeg.  I am not sure if he is buried there or not.  I believe he died before 1864.

Thanks,
Barb

Waterford / John Neville lived in Dungarvan, Waterford
« on: Tuesday 04 September 12 16:19 BST (UK)  »
Any direction would be appreciated.  John was born in either Wexford or Carlow around 1850-60  His father was Simon Neville who lived in Carlow.  John moved to Waterford and probably died there.  I found 2 John Nevilles on Family search that could possibly be him, one born around 1855 and one born around 1858; both died in Waterford.  I don't know if he was ever married.

Thanks

Wexford / Ballindaggan, Wexford Parish Records
« on: Saturday 28 July 12 15:41 BST (UK)  »
I am wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of any records for Ballindaggan, RC parish records, in Wexford.  It appears they start in 1871, but I have read that it originated many years earlier.  I have also seen other's records shown people baptized in 1826 in Ballindaggan.  I am trying to locate the records for that parish prior to 1871 or a parish that would have the records prior to that date.  I am looking for Neville's, Jordan's and Byrne's  born in Kiltealy, Wexford after 1855-1864.

Thank you in advance for any information
