Derbyshire / Jacob Toogood c1755

Hello,

I am trying to trace the birth of Jacob Toogood born about 1755.  He married Sarah Smith 1780 in Tutbury, Staffs. Their children were born in Hilton, Derbyshire.  Jacob died in Tutbury 1832. No mention of his birth in the Tutbury records, so wondered if he could have been in Derbyshire. Anyone out there have any ideas please?
