Would someone like to help me find details of my great grandfather please.

John jenkins
London Gazette 1881 bankruptcy.

Understand he was born in bwchlog isaf llanfihangel ar arth llanlwni carmarthenshire.

His wife eleanor(Nelli cart was the landlady of the cart and horses ) rhydcwmerau .
John jenkins was a farmer horse dealer
He appears between pages 40 and 60 in the book by dl William's. The old farmhouse..

I understand john and Nelli ran the cart and horses until around 1911.

Any further information would be much appreciated.

I am looking for an uncle. David Oswald Davies. Born rhydcymerau,  llandeilo fawr born around 1914.

Lived penbontbryn rhydcwmerau.

Served in world war 2 as a sub lieutenant(may have bedn promoted) in royal navy.

Joined Lloyd's bank after the war. Became Lloyd's bank manager in ammanford..

I would be grateful for any additional.infornation  that could be found .

I have tried to post a photo of my uncle wearing what looks to me like officer rank in the royal navy during the war 1939/45.

Apparantly the photo is too big to post. I tried then to post his cap base and separately the braid on his cuff . Still considered too big.

Please advise how to prepare the photo suitable for posting.

Curious about a london couple of sisters who lived in london but also owned a gentleman's residence in Wales.

Their surname was morgan and the property was Albert mount, caio, llanwrda. They also owned the adjacent farm, maescadog. The period would have covered at least 1939 to 1960

Samuel moreton , cobbler and methodist married margaret holland  catholoc 1787 liverpool. Son samuel holland moreton birth 1794. Married agnes bell 1838. Daughter of  joiner henry bell. Agnes was one of 21 children. (20 girls and one boy).
