« on: Friday 16 September 22 11:04 BST (UK)  »
Good Morning,

John Murphy lived in Shoreditch with his family in 1851, he is a Silk Dyer, his wife Mary Anne nee Hendry was born in 1818, in St Lukes, Shoreditch, they married in 1837 at St Leonards, their children Thomas, Catherine, John and Mary Ann were born in Shoreditch, Daniel , the eldest was from Johns first marriage.

In 1861, John and Mary Ann are still in Shoreditch with their son John, though the other children are missing, and Daniels wife Bridget is there, with their newborn son John.

Daniel goes on to live in Peckham, later in life, thats where his offspring  settle, but I can't find John, the silk dyer or the children after 1861. the mother Mary Ann is in Peckham in 1881, but can't find her death.

Any help appreciated. Thankyou

He married in Liverpool in to Johanna Poulson in the mid 1840s.

He ship the Catherine Porter shipwrecked of the Dublin coast in 1867, and John drowned, how would I find more of his seafaring career.
