I’m interested in communicating with any descendants of my my G-G-Grandparents James Fahey who married Ellen Dalton Tipperary circa 1830 and/or Timothy Ryan who married Mary Ryan Tipperary circa 1840.
My G-Grandfather was John Fahey 1836-1913 who married Bridget Jacobs c1862 and later married Mary Ryan c1869.   John came from Cappawhite and emigrated to Australia on the Renfrewshire in 1875.
I’ll be visiting Ireland and Tipperary in May 2017 and would be thrilled to share a beverage or an email with any distant cousins in Ireland, or any persons who have these names in their family research.
Kind regards
Phil Mellifont

Cork / Mellifont - Patrick and Ellen married 1834 of 3 Evergreen St Cork

Seeking any information or contact from distant cousins in Ireland who are descendants of Patrick Mellifont and Ellen Byrne married 1834 South Parish Cork, and lived at 3 Evergreen St.  Patrick and Ellen were my g-g-grandparents.   I’ll be visiting Cork in May 2017 and would be very happy to share a beverage or an email with anyone who is a relative or who has been researching the Mellifonts of Cork.  I do know that my g-grandfather Thomas Mellifont b1838 (who emigrated to Australia 1862) had a younger sister Mary Jane who married a Cornelius Tobin in 1876 and remained living in Cork.  I know the names of other members of the family but do not know who they married or what became of them. I'm interested in anything and everything..   Best regards Phil Mellifont.
