The Stay Safe Board / DIARY MONDAY 5TH
« on: Monday 05 October 20 10:03 BST (UK)  »
Diary Mon 6th
I am starting todays diary with something completely stupid, might give someone a laugh on a dull and dreary day after having had yet another rainfall earlier

For those who are superstitious did you know the rhyme about cutting nails on certain days, Friday and Sunday are NO NO days,    Tuesday is the best day, from memory, (heard it on the radio)  all to do with finance, so get your scissors ready for tomorrow!!

Does anyone know the full rhyme?

The Stay Safe Board / Demonstrations in Trafalgar Square
« on: Saturday 26 September 20 16:15 BST (UK)  »
I am not a particularly political person but what and why are there over 15,000 demonstrators doing in London today, seems to me they could not care less about the spread of covid,   it us , the over a certain agers who are doing all the right things to help bring these terrible times to closer end, I  have hardly socialised like most of us and a lot of us are suffering in some way but willing to do so for the others, I despair sometimes, my mother once said when she was ill and nearing the end of her life " I am glad I am on the way out and not on the way in"  in some ways I  am beginning to understand what she meant, sadly

The Stay Safe Board / Diary > Friday 7th August
« on: Friday 07 August 20 12:19 BST (UK)  »
I am going  be very brave and start a new diary

Very very hot here and not even midday

Went shopping at 8am and took my neighbour as I  always did before Lockdown,  my bill seemed very high but I paid it,  walked away and double checked it, I had been charged for 22 Cravendale milk,  I  had bought 2, so  I had to queue up for  a 38 refund, that was a bit of a worry as I had freezer things in my freezer bag  going into a hot car

2 lots of washing out under a large duvet,  I  have noticed white clothes come in streaked with yellow if left out  the sun to roast,  so under cover in this heat they dry nicely

Hope everyone feels  better today and can avoid their nasty neighbours like  I am  going to do, keep cool and take care, this weather is exhausting

The Stay Safe Board / Diary > Monday 8th June
« on: Monday 08 June 20 09:53 BST (UK)  »
8th, We didn't have a good day weather-wise but the rain perked up my lawn and plants, badly needed

Reading the paper I am appalled at the way people behaved over the weekend demonstrating, some of these youngsters might well go into politics, if they do, God help our country, what they did was well out of order, if one of them was a member of my family I would go to town on them, I am not a political person but I think the Govt has enough to deal with at the moment,

For fear of being shouted down it was well and truly over the top for their cause, words fail me
