I am wanting to find a photo of Moon Hall, I have looked on-line etc.

At the same time Moon Hall was held (of Coneyhurst Manor) by William Ticknor,
I am also trying to get my head around exactly what this means?

The History of the Parish of Hailsham has under the heading, the letters in the subject line, I assumed they must be roman numerals, although some of them I had never seen before but I doubt that now.  However I can't find out what they mean.

The Common Room / Willard atte Doune

I have a list of people from a 1322 petition of the community of the Lowy of Pevensey, members of the Kings port of Hastings, addressed to the King and Council.  One of the people on this is John Willard atte Doune.  I assume that Doune was a place and have tried finding it or something similar in that area.  (It is definitely not the Scottish castle)  Any help appreciated.

I am looking to see whether I have any ancestors who were 'recusants'.  I have seen on-line some in the Sussex Protestation Returns, but is there a separate list on-line anywhere that I could look to for specific names?

Any help appreciated.

Sussex / Dorothy Wyver
« on: Friday 23 April 21 21:33 BST (UK)  »
Kia ora

I am trying to find the birth and death of Dorothy Wyver.  I am a member of SFHG and have checked the on-line data base and the marriage disc I have, but I cannot find the name Wyver anywhere, I thought she may have married and changed her name. I have also looked for Voyce and Gye and tried to find a relevant marriage of them and Wyllm Page to no avail.

Dorothy Wyver gave birth to a bastard child by John Rowland, William Wyver Rowland 20 September 1556 Horsham Parish Church, Sussex.

The birth entry on the Sussex Family history site has
G/F Wyllm Joyce & Wyllm  Page   G/M  Agnes Gye.
