Hi, I remember my father saying that when he was in the Airforce training, his squadron leader was David Niven, from what I can remember I think this was in America (Florida) Does anyone have any ideas as to which this squadron was.  Thanks Kassi

Hi. I have just come across this on the CWGC site.  In memory of sergeant William Illidge.  11645, 6th battallion. South regiment. died 9 April1916.
I think this may well be my great uncle.  Is there any way of finding more details. address etc.    Thanks Kassi

Hi, I am lookin g for a marriage in Norwich of a Sydney wood and Mary toomey  abt 1939.   I cannot find this marriage  on free bmds.
Sydney was an English teacher in Norwich.  
Also, are there any descendants out there of Walter Fish, born Norwich abt 1864 and and Elizabeth Minns, married Norwich1887.   thanks

Hi, Hope somebody can help. I have just aquired a document from Ancestory.com. concerning the army record of my great uncle Samuel Darlington.
      Details.   Albert Darlington, age 19,birth parish Wilton, they mean Witton, Northwich.(thats in Cheshire)  Cheshire regiment, gen service. reg no 13123.     with DEAD stamped on it.  How can I find out where he was killed or buried?   Thankyou

Hi.  My great uncle , Septimus Illidge, served with the 9th battalion , lancs fusiliers 1916 , He only seems to have served for 3 mths and was then discharged for what looks like medical reasons.  He then seems tohave joined a Manchester regiment territorial.   On hisrecords there is are 2 "squigles" LARGE , that look like HS or NS, most likely HS, , does anybody have any idea what this means.  Thanks

Hi, My 3xgreat grandparents were John and Elizabeth Hogarth, living in Liverpool from the 1941 census.  As they were married pre 1837, is there any way I can find out what Elizabeth's maiden name was.  Thanks
