New Zealand Completed Requests / Onward Project - Personalised Cover Photo
« on: Tuesday 11 February 20 10:18 GMT (UK)  »
This was posted on the Onward Project Facebook page today:

“Would you like to see your relative on the cover of Onward? Well, soon you will be able to! We intend to offer the opportunity to personalise the covers of the Onward series with your own photograph, starting with Volume 5 which will be launched very shortly.

It would cost an additional $10, which we think is really good value, and what a great thing to be able to pass down the generations!

This is a sample of how a personalised copy would look. (see attachment)

We would love to hear your thoughts on the idea!

London and Middlesex / Albert Victor Church
« on: Tuesday 07 June 16 22:55 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find out what happened to Albert Victor Church after 1925.
1889 - His birth was registered Q3 Penge, Surrey.
1915 - He married Edith Mary Stapleton, haven't found confirmation of this yet
1925 - Electoral Roll - living with Edith at 20 Kent House Road, Sydenham Ward, Lewisham.
I can't find any record of him since then. There were children born after this date:
1926 - twins birth registered Woolwich
1928 - sons birth registered Datford

I can find no record of either Albert or Edith until 1939 Register when I found Edith at the Westhill Hospital, Dartford. In 1945 she had moved back to Lewisham and died 1969.

From what I have been told, the children were placed in homes/orphanages.

I do hope I can get this puzzle solved and I thank you in advance for any light you can throw on this brick wall.

Edited to add - there is an Albert Victor Church living in Lewisham from mid 1930's but that is not the one I am looking for.
