I have an Isaac Goodison Oliffe born 1786 Ireland he married Eliza or Elizabeth born 1801 in ireland they have a daughter Mary Ann b 1828, I just don't know how to look for Isaac  where do you start in Ireland, i am a bit confused. Thank you

Could someone tell me how to look at a cert on FHL Film, i have seen a couple of birth certificate's i don't know how to go about getting them, and where you can look at them.
Why are they on film instead of paper?

Could anybody help me,how do you find people that has emigrated to Canada,
Ivy May Bye b May 1910 in Hackney m William James Miller August 1934 in Hackney,i don't know when they went, i am so confused as i cannot find a lot out about Ivy May Bye she is my Nan's sister and the family don't know anything.

If anybody can help i would be so grateful

This is a letter my Grandfather wrote his name is Thomas Holden, i think it was something to do with the army,it was wrote in 1933 a long way after he was in the army, it is so faded but i hope someone can help.Thank you Resi

I don't know if this is right, is there any books that you can find shops that were in the Clapton London E5 area in the 1940 & 1950 there was a few in our area, i think it was called Allports spelling might be wrong.
If this is wrong for me to put it here i am very sorry.

Could someone tell me the address on this census form,The Name is for George Elton i think his occupation was a nurseryman,the handwriting is so bad i cannot read the address at all,it is an 1861 Census.Thank you Resi
