My Father's family immigrated to Canada on the SS Letitia leaving Glasgow on 31 May 1929 arriving at Quebec on the 9 Jun 1929.On the doc's it gives the final destination as Land Settlement 440 & nothing else.I believe this was in the New Brunswick area. I would love to know exactly where in Canada it was he lived. Can anyone help me?

William Air & Isabella Weatherhead married 17th March 1775

This information was written in the front of a family bible,
I'm trying to find the location of the marriage,
They apparently had several children baptised at Coldstream,
I'm trying to find out for a friend of a friend so hav'nt got any more information at hand,
I've tried searching scotlandspeople & but found nothing,

Please help decipher the word after (John McDonald in).I think it say's Obuachan.It's off a 1784 marriage record.I've looked on Old Maps but can't find it .Any help would be appreciated.    Walter

please help decipher.This could be a place name in the Fort Augustus area.It was taken of a QPR marriage record in 1825.It looks to me like Steapha but I'm not sure.Any help would be appreciated.  regards,  Walter

Alexander McDonald was born around 1796 at Fort Augustus.He died on the 7 Feb 1860 at 27 Tomnahurich Street Inverness.On his death certificate it gives his parents names as Evan/Euan McDonald & Mary McDonald maiden name McDonald & place of birth Fort Augustus,his age as 63.He married Agnes Fordice Clark on the 9 Mar 1825 & had 8 children with her.Agnes died on the 27 Oct 1855 at Tomnahurich Street age 54 her parents were William Clark & Marjory Fraser she was born on the 29 Mar 1802 at Kinmylies Inverness.Alexander & Agnes were buried at the Church Yard Inverness.Any Information on the parents & siblings of Alexander & Agnes would be appreciated.

Please help me decipher this place name on a 1855 death certificate.It could be the name of a farm or place in the Inverness area.

William Stirling was born in Cumbusbarron around 1853 to John Stirling & Janet Brown.He then had nine children with Isabella Michie at Alva ( Were they married ? )several of the children died at a young age. He then lived at  Aberdeen in the 1881 census with Isabella Smith from Kincarnine O'Neil who had three children of her own & had a further six to William (Were they married?)They then moved to Logie Easter in Ross-Shire where William died in 1909 & Isabella Smith then Stirling in 1932.I've also come across the death of a Isabella Michie(Stirling) in 1894 age 68 at Larbert Lunatic Asylum(Were they Divorced ?)I can't find Isabella Michie(Stirling)in any census from 1841 to 1891.Any help to all these questions would be appreciated

Can anyone help me with the marriage & children of Evan & Mary MacDonald.They had a son Alexander born on the 12/6/1796 at Fort Augustus Inverness.He died on the 7/2/1860 at 27 Tomnahurich Street Inverness & was married to Agnes Clark.Any help would be appreciated
