Kent / Tracing a Death certificate.
« on: Wednesday 03 September 14 21:46 BST (UK)  »
Trying to find the actual date my father-Edward William Reynolds died, so I can apply for his death certificate. his death was registered in Dartford, Kent, in the month of June-1975. Any ancestry site I've checked will only give me the month/year.

This photo was given to me by my 2nd cousin.  It is really badly creased. Any chance anyone can help clean it up.

Thank you,

Armagh / James Bright C1840 Edenderrry
« on: Wednesday 20 April 11 00:53 BST (UK)  »
Hi Folks,

I am seeking info on a gentleman named James Bright born C1840.   He was christened at Tullylish , Co. Down but later lived with his parents and family in Edenderry in Portadown.

His parents were David Bright and Jane Mussen(married 1839).  Both his parents died in 1859 and he is mentioned in their will(image on proni website).

I cannot find any info re his life online . His brothers owned a foundry in Edenderry .

I was hoping that someone would be able to help with info re James.....when did he die??? if he survived to adulthood what was his job?

Many thanks,

Aljepeka

Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey, Sark / Alderney birth C1859
« on: Saturday 11 September 10 03:01 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

In the 1861 English census in the civil parish of Alverstoke in the county of Hampshire I have a family  listed as

James and Elizabeth Harvey being the parents(both born in Ireland).
They have the following children,
Mary Ann
Jane
Francis
James
John
Arthur
and Eleanor.

Arthur is listed as two years old and being born in Alderney.

I believe the parents to be James Harvey and Elizabeth Bickett.  James Harvey's occupation is a Sergeant in the Royal Artillary.  Would it be possible for anyone to do a look up of the son Arthur's birth for me.

Much appreciated,
Aljepeka

Armagh / SPRINT Family
« on: Wednesday 27 May 09 00:55 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,

I am interested in a family with the surname of SPRINT.  It appears to be quite an uncommon name in this locality - at least it is today. The family where from the Derryhale area and attended Mullavilly Church of Ireland.  Any info appreciated.

Regards Aljepeka
