I wonder if anyone could help? I am looking for a Thomas Jones born 1818 in France. I have him in 1851 census married to Caroline but am desperate to know his parents names and as his first child was born in 1850 I am hoping he was not married in the 1841 census. The family seemed to be in several areas but mainly battersea, elephant and castle area, southwark, mile end and in that general 5 mile radius around the elephant and castle. I would be extremely grateful if there is anyone who could help as I have been stuck on this now for nearly a year and would love to find out why he was born in France
Many Many thanks
