Hello

Can anyone tell me what the attached means?  William Foster served in the Royal Engineers in Egypt.  Any information about the attached, or any thing about the RE in Egypt, particularly in relation to the railway,  would be amazing.

I'm very lucky in that William's army record is available, but I don't really understand most of it.
