Midlothian / Help Appreciated for Edinburgh Baptism

Is it possible for someone to look for the Birth/Baptism of Peter Riva the son of Peter Riva and Margaret Donegan. It would be c1824 in Edinburgh. The surname could be spelt as Riva: Reva and sometimes River. Could possibly be Roman Catholic.

Is anyone researching or have connections to the Merineau Family who lived in Quebec Canada?

Particularly looking for details of 4 of the children of Amadee Merinue [26/1/1847] and Natalie Catudal dite St Jean [8th Dec 1846]. I have a list of their 11 children but I am particularly interested in Amadee Merineau born c1867: Ovila Merineau c1874: Oliva Merineau c1878 and Oliva c1878.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Common Room / Help Wanted Billingshurst Marriage

Hi.

Daniel Etheridge and Mary Jane Steer were married on the 11th Jan 1879 in Billingshurst. I have details of Daniel's parents but was wondering if anyone here new the parent's names of Mary Jane? She was born c 1860 but there are several Mary Jane Steers born in the Sussex area round about that time.

I have located all of the 6 Baptismal records of the children of Harry Slaughter and his wife Sarah which took place between 1779 and 1789. They are recorded as being baptised in Upper Beeding, Sussex which is nr Horsham. Strange though the exact same baptisms [Same Parents and children and dates ] took place in West Tarring, Sussex. The two different places are approx 10 miles from each other.

How can this be? It would be a very rare thing if there were two sets of parents with the same names having children of the same names being baptised on the same day.

Any thoughts welcomed.

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Marriage look up lease of Thomas COE and Jemima Coppen 8th February 1816

I am looking for the marriage entry of Thomas Coe and Jemima Coppen who were married on the 8th February 1816 in Great Bradley, Suffolk. There is marriage entry on Find My Past of a Thomas COX to Jemima Coppen but this is a transcription of the Parish Record rather than a viewable record.

Would there be an error in the transcription? I believe that there is but if anyone is going to the Suffolk record office at some point, I would appreciate it if they could double check the entry for me.

Would anyone be kind enough to look up for me the marriage of Thomas Wheeler & Alice Quickenden who were married on the 17th Dec 1912 at St Michael's Church, Sydenham Kent.

Alice used the name of Alice Gertrude when married but her actual name is just Alice. I have all the info that I need re Alice {birth etc] but what I am looking for is any details that are found in the Marriage entry on Thomas . A transcript of the entry would be much appreciated.

I have the Army details of Thomas as well but they reveal very little about him.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it possible for someone to look at the baptismal record of Matthew Tennice
Date: 23 Jun 1838 at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Northumberland
Parents: James Tennice and Jesse Riva

I am curious as to the Father's name as it should be Joseph. There is a Film Number but I think that it refers to the LDS system of films.

Carmarthenshire / TINNUCHE family from Llanelly area

I have located all of the census records relating to the TINNUCHE family in Wales yet I can still not find any records of baptisms etc. I also have the complete listings from the GRO [Ancestry] of BMD relating to the family yet they remain elusive when it comes to other records.

In the past I have contacted members of the family who have promised to send me details on receipt of the family tree but after nearly 20 yrs this info is still not forthcoming.

Any help in location any info [Baptisms etc] would be more that welcomed.
