Hello,
On Friday, September 15, 2023, I submitted a photo for colorizing and restoration.  By September 19, I had not learned if the photo was accepted.  It showed as pending approval and I wrote Customer Support asking if perhaps I made an error in submitting it.  I see today that it has disappeared from the files.  Just curious as to what happened.

I am trying once again hoping that someone might please be interested in helping me.  The photo was scanned at 1200 DPI and was 406KB.  I was requesting auburn hair and hazel eyes with a medium blue dress with white trim.  Any information or assistance is very much appreciated.  Thank you.

May I please request a colorization and restoration?  Her hair was auburn and her eye color was hazel. May I also ask that her dress be colored a medium blue with white trim?  Any help will be very much appreciated.  Thank you so much!

Longford / Thomas Leavy/Leavey in Longford County. Ireland
« on: Friday 23 September 22 07:40 BST (UK)  »
I am researching Thomas Leavy/Leavey born in 1760 in Ireland most likely in County Longford married to Bridget Keogan born in 1765.  I suspect he might be the father of my 2nd great grandfather, Christopher Leavy/Leavey born in 1781 and married to Jeanne Dinnegan born in about 1796.  I know of only one child born to Thomas and Bridget and she (Mary) was born in 1782 one year after my 2nd great grandfather’s birth year.  She was born and baptized in Robinstown, County, Longford. Ireland.  She married Patrick Rogers born in 1888 in County Longford, Ireland.

My hope is to identify any other possible children Of Thomas Leavy/Leavey and Bridget Keogan.  My 2nd great grandparents lived in Cooleeny, County Longford with their seven children. Any assistance with locating possible children for Thomas Leavy/Leavey and Bridget Keogan will be so appreciated and extremely helpful.

Thank you.

Longford / Leavy/Leavey in Longford County, Ireland
« on: Sunday 03 July 22 07:40 BST (UK)  »

I am looking please for the children of Thomas Leavy/Leavey born in 1760 and Bridget Keogan born in 1765.  They lived in County Longford, possibly Coleeney, Ireland.  I believe that my 3rd great grandfather, Christopher Leavy/Leavey might have been their child.  Christopher was born in 1781 and lived in Coleeney, County Longford, Ireland until his death in 1840. He married Joan/Jeanne Dinnegan.  They had seven children born from 1808-1823.
The only known child for Thomas Leavy/Leavey and Bridget Keogan was Mary Leavy/Leavey born in 1782. Mary’s baptism was listed in Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers, 1655-1915 for Ardagh and Granard.  Mary married  Patrick Rogers born 1788.  Any information will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for any assistance. 181

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Restoration 1957 Red Chevy
« on: Saturday 19 March 22 23:31 GMT (UK)  »
I have a cousin who loved his red 57 Chevy.  I would like to have this restored for him, please. Hope this is not too much to ask.  If possible, I would like the border and houses removed, but keep the trees.  Perhaps have the photo lightened, and would like the silver-gray Chevy included with the red Chevy.  The street is an odd color and if it can be made a more life-like color, that would be wonderful. I realize it is really damaged and is only a vintage photo but anything you can do to improve it will be greatly appreciated. Scanned at 1200 DPI. Thank you very much. The link to the photo is below.

May I request please a restoration.  I am not sure that this type of photo is accepted. This is a 1957 Red Belair, hard top, 2-door. My cousin said it was originally a different color but he had it painted red including the hardtop. (Matador Red) The white strips on the sides were white. This is an original and scanned at 1200. Please remove all other cars, date, person, and tree and the attachment to the front of the car. Thank you so much.

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Surprise ethnicity
« on: Thursday 18 February 21 11:39 GMT (UK)  »
I have a mystery and would be so appreciative of guidance, please!

All of my 15,881 shared matches are separated into maternal and paternal lines and all are color-coded.
My maternal line as well as my paternal grandmother’s matches are easily identified.  My paternal grandfather was supposed of Middle East ethnicity, but his shared matches indicate a Southern Italian (Cosenza, Calabria) connection.  Not one of his shared matches (2,099) reveals a Middle East ethnicity and none are familiar surnames.  All indicate either Italian surnames and/or shared matches with a high Italian ethnicity. My brother and paternal cousins have tested and all indicate this same pattern.
My ancestry.com DNA results indicate a 40% and myheritage.com indicates a 56% Southern Italian ethnicity.  I have uploaded results to gedmatch.com and MyHeritage. The only conclusion I can make at this time is that my paternal grandfather was an NPE.  My paternal grandparents immigrated in 1911. My grandfather was born in 1879 and his children never had knowledge of his extended family and always believed he was of Middle Eastern ethnicity.
My highest four matches and centiMorgans are as follow:
        Surname                        cM
1.    Perri                         291
2.    Nigro                        132
3.    Aponte                    126
4.    Ruffolo                      93
#1, #2 and #4 appear singly or together in almost all of his shared matches.  While I don’t expect to identify his parents, I would very much like to seek out a way to identify the closest possible connection amongst my highest matches. I have sent probably close to 200 inquiries to shared matches with little or no success.  I have built small trees for #1 and #2.
Any advice, suggestions, or assistance is very much appreciated. I am at a loss for gaining more information. Thank you.
