Buckinghamshire / "The Osborns of Stoke Goldington & Newport Pagnell"
« on: Monday 03 May 21 22:30 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for "The Osborns of Stoke Goldington & Newport Pagnell" by F W Bull. It appears to have been published in the early 1900s.

Does anyone know anything about this publication or where I could obtain a copy, or scans/photographs of its pages.

I am trying to establish how George Osborn of Newport Pagnell, woolstapler, was related to William Osborn of Woburn, Beds.

Who was F W Bull who wrote this?

Thanks, Marianne

United States of America / Doris Nellie Alberta Kirkpatrick - Colorado
« on: Tuesday 19 November 19 22:25 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
I am trying to find out when Doris Nellie Alberta Kirkpatrick died and if she left any descendants.
Doris was born Doris Nellie Alberta Vale in 1892 in Australia, then with her parents, Rev Herbert Howlett Vale and his wife Henrietta De Gruchy, and two siblings migrated to Denver, Colorado.
Her father and elder sister died in 1906.
Doris first married Ellsworth N J Weston in 1917, they divorced.
In Dec 1920 she married Homer W Kirkpatrick, who died in 1961, and is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado
There is a possible listing on the SSI for a Doris A Kirkpatrick who died in 1971.
Would anyone be able to check if this is the Doris I am looking for.
Thank you.

Would anyone be able to date the image 'west-005' please.
Also what are your opinions as to images 'west-006a' and 'west-007'. These latter two were taken in c1912/1913. The woman in these two photographs was born c1860. I would like to find out if the girl in image 'west-005' could be the same person.
Thank you.

Australia Lookups completed / RUSHALL - South Australia - COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 28 April 11 04:43 BST (UK)  »
Hi, would someone with access to South Australian BDM please check if there are any births for RUSHALL. The children I am seeking are:
Flavouer Elizabeth RUSHALL - said to be born in Adelaide 1859; Alexander RUSHALL - said to be born 1870; Frederick William RUSHALL - birth date unknown (still alive in 1927).

The parents should be Elizabeth GOWER & John RUSHALL.
Their first two children were born in Victoria in 1855 & 1857. According to Vic records John RUSHALL died in 1857, and is buried with his 5 year old daughter who died 1862 in St Kilda (no gravestone), so I do not know who the father of the three children I am seeking would be. The death certificates of Alex and Flavouer state that their father was John RUSHALL.

Thanks. Marianne

I am looking for an Eliza WRIGHT whose father was Charles WRIGHT. Mother either Eliza BROWN or Martha BROWN. Eliza was probably born sometime between 1842 and 1847 in "London", and arrived in Australia before 1864.

Can someone please look her up in the 1851 and 1861 census?

Thank you.
