Any help would be much appreciated.

Durham / Given up looking - Henry Robinson
« on: Sunday 06 January 19 22:10 GMT (UK)  »
I'm trying to find Henry born 1891/2, his birth and parents, so this I know:

Henry age 25 married Ethel Preece 20 on 13 Feb 1917 As St Stephens Sunderland, his occupation was Clerk living at 2 Glass St, fathers name William Robinson, Electric-Craneman (not shown as deceased).  witnesses were Edward Robinson and Edith Preece.

Henry died age 34 on 21 Oct 1925 in the Royal Infirmary Sunderland were he was a Male Nurse, his address was 3 Crow St as was his sister-in-law Dorothy Preece who was present at his death and registered his death, post mortem certified by V.P.Robinson BM. death from heart failure pneumococcal meningitis.

Henry was 'Clerk at Royal Infirmary' on his son Henry's birth cert who was born 8 July 1917 at 3 Crow St. (I know all about his son who married Nancy Willcocks)

He was born 1891/2 according to the above and Thats All Folks!

William, Edward, Henry, none of whom fit together on any records I've tried, not on censuses, tried BMD searches, have made lots of mini trees of possible families, is V.P. a family member???

I think I'm too muddled now with too many possibilities, my cat Henry is also muddled lol thinks I'm calling him all the time lol

If anyone comes across a likely lad to fit the above Henry please let me know :)

Durham / Henry Robinson poss Sunderland/RN
« on: Thursday 05 October 17 20:41 BST (UK)  »
Please help find Henry:

Henry Robinson marriage 2 Apr 1940 to Nancy Willcocks in Uplyme, Devon (Honiton district).
Marriage cert gives the following info on Henry:
He was age 22, bachelor, leading seaman RN, address HMS Pengbourne 30 South Street Sunderland, father = Henry Robinson deceased, assistant pathologist.

I guess was in Devon re RN dockyard or ship and Sunderland address was parents, medical connection?

I've tried every place I can think of, I can't even find any of them on the 1939 register, nothing, I'm just going round in circles.

If anyone has time and would like a challenge, this is it, good luck

Thanks in advance of any help or suggestions

Mayo / McNulty in Roosky or Foxford
« on: Monday 03 July 17 22:02 BST (UK)  »
So on FindMyPast and Familysearch and other sites there are some 'Extract of census return' request forms:

1.  dated 5.12.16 (1916) requested by Mary Mcnulty, address Mrs Mary Ruddy, Curradrish?, Foxford, Co Mayo, parents Anthony +Ann McNulty. notes says in 1851 found John + Mary McNulty M? 1822 with Grandchild Mary McNulty 5yrs also son Anthony 26 (marriage column for Anthony blank.

2.  dated 16.3.1917 requested by Anthony McNulty address Roosky, Foxford, Co Mayo parents Anthony and Anne McNulty (McAndrew)

These maybe mine and I tried and failed to find anything other then these confusing forms.  If the 1851 was accessed in 1916, where is it held and how can it be searched?

My family is
Anthony McNulty b1816 married to Margaret Lynch B1821, Children Mary babt1850 Ireland, sons Thomas, Patrick and John born after 1851 in Fife, Scotland, Patricks birth states both parents from Mayo and married 1846. 1861 Scotland census mistranscribed/misspelt McKenalty.

I would really like to find where they lived in Ireland, but have no idea where to begin to look :(

Any suggestions would be most welcome

Kent / Emily Beaumont Booker in Eynsford
« on: Sunday 14 August 16 13:49 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to find the parents of Emily Beaumont Booker born in Eynsford, she is on the 81,91,01,11 living with her grandparents William and Mary, but can't find baptism, and wondered if anyone has access to parish records for Eynsford.
I have a feeling she is the daughter of George Booker whose wife Emily Gibbard died in 1876, could have been in childbirth.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Fife / McNalty in Lochgelly or Kirkcaldy.
« on: Tuesday 02 June 15 22:12 BST (UK)  »
Thought I'd have another shout for this one, trying to find Birth for John Patten McNalty and info on his parents.

John Patten McNalty born 1859
Army discharge papers say born in the parish of Lochgelly near Kirkcaldy Fife.  He attested at Edinburgh on 9 July 1879 for the Royal Engineers age 20 years.  He died in 1892 in Rochester, Kent and his occupation is Stonemason.

His marriage cert in 1887 says 27 years old and fathers name is Alexander McNalty whose occupation was gardener.

I have tried every site possible to find his birth and had no luck.

I would be grateful for any time you can give but please don't spend to much time on him cos I think he's one of those that wants to remain hidden for a while, its been 10 years since I first posted about him and have found nothing since them.

Thank you

Kent / Burley baptism Henry Burley born 1808 - Sittingbourne
« on: Tuesday 02 June 15 21:39 BST (UK)  »

I am looking for the Baptims of Henry Burley born 1808 in Sittingbourne.

I have found (on IGI and ancestry) baptisms for John 1807, Joseph 1804, William 1806, Elizabeth 1800, Richard 1808, Frances 1802 all with parents Thomas and Ann Burley, but no Henry.

It would seem likely that they are all one family but and that he is also their child but seems odd that they baptised all the other children but not him.  His date and place of birth are correct according to census and other records.

Wonder if anyone has access to Parish records and could look him up for me.
