« on: Sunday 17 December 23 20:29 GMT (UK)  »
My distant relative, Margaret Girvan married Thomas McKeown in 1746 (Source: Wm F McKinney's Family Notebook). I'd like to know if they had any descendants, so if anyone is researching this line, I'd be glad to hear from you.

Waterford / Robert McNinch (b: 1880) and Agnes Doogan
« on: Tuesday 01 June 21 19:30 BST (UK)  »
Robert was a distant relative of mine, and as far as I know he was a Journalist and lived at St. Ursula's Terrace, Waterford, just over one hundred years ago. His paternal  grandfather, also named Robert McNinch  (c1809-99) lived in East Antrim. It appears that he and his wife had at least five children:
Charles (b: 1902) ;  James Watt (b: 1905) ;  Kathleen  (b: abt 1903) ;  Jane (b: abt 1907) and Robert (b: 1911).

It would be great to know what happened to these children, and possible chat to some of their living descendants. If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated.

John was a distant relative of mine. They had nine children:  John (b: 1871) ; William (b: 1872) ; Mary Anne (b: 1874) married David McCartney ;  Jane Moffett (b: 1876) married Robert McMurtry ;  Bryson (b: 1880) who may have married Jemima Baird in 1932 ;  Thomas (b: 1884) ;  James (b: 1887) ; Ida (b: 1890)  and  Robert Henry (b: 1892).

As this is all I know, I was hoping that there may be some living descendants of the above family, in fact I have been told, there was a John Wilson (b: c1934)  residing at Orlands Mill farm about 2015. If anyone can be of assistance, It would be much appreciated.

Antrim / John Wilson (1785-1873) and Jane Lennon (1792-1843) (Ballylaggan)
« on: Saturday 17 April 21 15:58 BST (UK)  »
In John's Will, he makes bequests to the children of his daughters:  Agnes, Jane and Margaret. I think these daughters may have married before the Civil Registration began in 1845, this makes it very difficult to ascertain who they married. As twins seem to be prevalent within this family circle for generations, it is possible that his daughters or grandchildren had twins, though that's just a guess on my part.

Does anyone know who John's daughters married or anything about their descendants, as I'd much appreciate any help.

Antrim / Hall family, Raloo and Straid (Connections?)
« on: Tuesday 13 April 21 00:14 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to establish if these families are connected. In the Will of James Hall (c1790-1877) who lived at Toreagh, Raloo, he makes a bequest to his son, John.

Is this the same John Hall (c1815-90) who lived at Dairyland, Straid (near Ballynure)?

I'd be grateful if anyone can help.

Antrim / Lennon Family (Lambeg)
« on: Sunday 21 March 21 16:07 GMT (UK)  »
Robert Lennon  (1864-1927) was born in the Ballynure area. His first marriage was to Sarah Campbell, and they had six children, born between 1886 and 1898. He then married Jane (maiden surname unknown) and had one son.  I know that Robert was living in the Lambeg area in 1911, and he was a Carpenter.  Does anyone know about the lives and descendants of his children?
