If possible can you find a burial for James Green death 1898 March Q Chelsea.
Family search have a burial for James Green Chelsea 15 Feb 1898 Im trying to find out more details to see if its my James Green!

I have him in the 1891 census at Chelsea Charlotte St born c1841 Ireland, a Tailor.
Think I have him in the 1892 and 1893 Electoral Roll, 1892 at Charlotte St. and 1893 at Cross St possibly.
I've never been able to find him in the 1881.
His daughter Catherine was born Whitechapel 1874.
The mother Mary "disappears" after the birth of Catherine, not listed in the 1891 where he is a widower.
Grateful for any help, just trying to pick up research again after a while away. (moving house , looking after grandchildren etc  )

I have just tried to order a digital copy of the death from GRO but can't seem to do it, I've searched the index as usual but it isn't listing digital copy?

Using Macbook OS X El Capitan (I know it's old)  Safari browser. Happily using Safari on find my past my bargain 3 months sub. over the last few weeks everything fine, suddenly this afternoon about 10 mins ago, up popped alert message This site might be trying to steal your details......
Unsafe.......  when I click on see details, up comes the "Security Certificate" but this too has an untrusted site ......  now I can't get back in to Find My Past.....  anyone have the answer please.
I have Norton installed but its been fine for weeks so why the sudden error.

Hi I need help please  just trying to re-start research and I cannot translate a R.C. Baptism 2 December 1877 which has additions.  I think I can manage the printed entries ok.

The first time I tried to post the 2 images the file size was too big and then I couldn't post the text!
hopefully this will work  - no it didn't
Off to find another way.    back soon  -   Yeah  think it will work!

I am stuck and would appreciate some help please.
I do have an Anc.sub but not worldwide, I have tried using Canadian  sites and also Familysearch but think I have exhausted my options for now.

I am looking for any further Census information, Marriage Certificates,  Death Certificates. Electoral Roll maybe.?
Jack Thomas Ford b c1875 Dowlais Wales.  Father Luke Ford.   
I have found John in the 1911 census and in the 1916 census he is in Saskatchewan, district 19.Kindersley.  together with  brother Frank.
I have Johns death certificate , died Oct 9th 1960 in Victoria found online.  His second wife Nellie (Cooke) is the informant.  On Family search I can find the marriage transcript (but not a certificate which would be great to have if available)
Also on British Colombia Death Registrations I find Mary Ford, died 9 March 1938  (Victoria) transcript.  I have never been able to find her marriage to John Ford.
I also found John and Mary on the SS Duchess of Richmond, Sailing from Liverpool 21 March 1930. 
John T Ford, born Dowlais, Age 55.   If in Canada Before :  1905 - (22 Nov)1929.  Kyle Sask.   
Mary Ford,   born Dowlais,  Age 56,  In Canada 1909 - (Nov) 1929.  Kyle Sask.


In Library & Archives Canada, I found Land grants for both John T. and Frank

They look as if they could be  adjoining land . 
Are wills/probate available to search for Canada,?Johns death occurred in Victoria so he obviously wasn't farming any more.

Can I please ask for some help?  I moved over to a MacAir about two years ago, however I have an old PC that has an awful lot of photos, jpegs, files for family history,  (media) downloads of census etc. what would be the best way to transfer them to the Mac.  I have an external hard drive which they are on but the MacAir does not recognise this drive. If I purchase another external drive that is formatted for a Mac will the PC be able to download the files?  or same if I use a USB stick?  I think the problem is due to the formatting being completely different??
Any help welcome
