DOD UNKOWN (Maybe in Hastings)

They had two children together

The children was separated (I'm guessing around 1900-1910)

Herbert's family have just found out about his sister. Adelaide smith 1866
Herbert went to the 'rich' side of the family (William sister)

Noone is  sure where Eva went to live.

Any help you guy could give would be greatly appreciated on Leonara and Williams DOD or if you can find the children on the Cencus

« on: Wednesday 08 July 20 00:31 BST (UK)  »
Hello everyone,

While looking into my family I have found a record for someone living in my house as a "nurse child" which ive come to find that its like a forest family type situation.

my question is does anyone know of any public records that would show a paper trail and somewhere I could find information on why she was put with the family.

Her name is Clara Whitley and was in the 1881 census at 11 years old
she wasn't in the 1871 or 1891 census with my family.

Hi,
I have an ancestor who was in St John´s Road Workhouse Register, admission date 27 july 1907.
his name is francis twyford DOB jan 1840 and DOD 2 aug 1907

He is listed as a widow and was a housekeeper

I am wondering if there are workhouse records that might tell me more about what circumstances led to his admission and if he died there or got an very early release lol

I have got a copy from ancestry about admission but nothing else, does anyone know where I might be able to find any other information
Thanks!
