Does anybody know where I could buy a Y DNA and an MT DNA test on their own without an autosomal alongside as I have already took one?

Thanks

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Francis Cockerill
« on: Wednesday 28 October 20 22:54 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all,

My 5x great grandfather, Francis Cockerill married Elizabeth Soltan in 1775 in Burton Fleming, where he had two daughters, Mary and Martha. There is a baptism record for a Francis Cockerill in 1765 in Burton Fleming. This would make him 10/11 when he was married?!?!?

If I have traced the correct lineage, how likely is it that a 10 year old married and had children?? HE died in 1784.

The Lighter Side / Marriage certificate errors
« on: Sunday 25 October 20 17:38 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all,

I have been researching my 5x great grandfathers William Bentley's offspring. One of his sons, my 4x great great uncle, John's marriage certificate, his father William's occupation is given as a Brickmaker, however on the census before and after the marriage he is a agricultural labourer. Could the error just be on part of John, the informant?

Thank you  :)

Hi,

I am having trouble reading this letter written by my 3x great grandfather Joseph MOFFATT. It is in his son Thomas George MOFFATT's service record. Thomas was killed in 1916. Can anybody help to develop the photo so the writing is easier to read?

Thanks
