Waterford / Margaret & Mr Lambert
« on: Thursday 30 December 21 22:14 GMT (UK)  »
Hey! I wondered anyone could help.

I am looking for a Margaret - 1879, she had a few children to a Mr Lambert.
Margaret Lambert - 1908 who married James Rowley. They moved to Liverpool.
and her sister Bridget - 1899 who married Everett Leeper in the USA.

Apparently they were born in Waterford.

I cant find anything about them and even the trees stop with these two.
Does anyone have them in a tree somewhere?

I have no access to family as my grandad didn't want anything to do with his child (my mother).

Travelling People / Gypsies in a newsarticle - Smith, Carey and Buckland
« on: Monday 27 July 20 16:44 BST (UK)  »
I wondered if anyone can help.

I came across a news article in the Hendon & Finchley Times - 03 Feb 1905
"Richard Smith, James Smith, Annie Carey, Henry Tuckland, Louisa Smith, gipsies living in Caravans, at Wembley Hill, were summoned for contravention of the bye laws of the Wembley Urban District Council by not providing a proper receptacle for refuse ..."

Can anyone identify Richard, James Smith and Annie Carey?
Struggling to find any of them in records. I have no knowledge about them at all aside this article.

I have a Henry Buckland born est 1866 with no evidence of birth or death. He married a Louisa Smith in 1915. She was born est 1875, again, no evidence of birth but I do have a death register for her.

These two are featured on a 1911 Census in Edmonton England under the name Henry Butland and Lusie Butland. I have confirmed that the people on census are definitely mine.

I also have their marriage cert, married 1915. Father to Henry is a Shipton Buckland and father to Louisa is a Emmanual Smith. Neither one I can confirm identities too and both fathers are decreased by the time of the marriage. Witnesses are W Young and Sarah Young. Both Henry and his father Shipton are horse dealers.

These people married very late, age 49 and 40 but their first child was born 1888/1890 - Cinderella/Sinder Buckland.

Any ideas?
